Adult Class

Time: Wednesdays 7:00pm-8:15pm

6-Class Session: April 13, April 20, April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18

Price: $155

Location: 830 W College Ave and the corner of Feld Avenue (wooden picket fence, white gate on Feld Ave and bright blue door) 

 

Class Description-

This class will appeal to anyone who has ever considered drawing or already enjoys drawing, from the ultimate beginner to a little more advanced. We will be exploring techniques, composition and materials, learning about the great master drawing techniques and much more.  Some classes may even be outside at different sites in the neighborhood.

 

Students are gently guided to feel comfortable with their creative expressions. 

 

Drawing Group 2 will proceed these 6 sessions and there will be future week night open figure drawing sessions.

Instructor: Janis Dunckel

Janis has taught art for many years and loves teaching teens. Her casual and imaginative way of teaching gives them the self esteem that they need to learn in an unobtrusive and fun way.  Janis has taught classes in Sarasota, Florida; Darien, Connecticut; Paris, France and Georgia. "Ms. Janis", as she was known when she first began her after school program at Winnona Park in 2013, has been co-owner of CAATINGA! art&nature for four years. She is very excited about this new adventure and is looking forward to teaching adults again!
